Hope u all enjoyed the video. I honestly hope it helps, and if not let me know and I’ll try and do another video using liquid eyeliner just for YOU!
Eyeliner comes in all different form such as, gel, liquid , pencil, and you can even create an eyeliner style using eyeshadow. Today’s blog is hopefully going to give you an insight into some of these different types.
Let’s tackle LIQUID eyeliner 1st!
So, to apply liquid eyeliner you could try to line the eye from the inner corner of the lashes sweeping it outward. If that doesn’t work, you can also begin to line the eye from the middle of the lash line outward and then come back to the inner corner to join up to the middle. A quick trick to make your eyes appear bigger if you struggle with a shaky hand, starting with a bare eye, dot the liquid liner in between your lashes. Take care as the result is not meant to be a solid line but more as if the lashes are thicker at the roots. Now add your most loved mascara and check out the difference in comparison to the other bare eye.
TIP: Try not to poke yourself in the eye! It gets messy and hurts, trust me lol.
The perfect ‘I just slept with my eyeliner on’ Smudged look with PENCIL eyeliner!
Ok this one has to be the easiest, maybe. Firstly get your self a good quality Khol pencil, my personal favourite is Smoulder by Mac. This has the best smudging power I have ever seen. This is what I do, I begin with lining my waterline with the pencil, both top and bottom. Then with either a small pencil brush or my finger I begin to smudge the liner outward into my lashes and a little lower. Voila!
Sexy and quick.
So you’re daring to be brave enough to tackle this, good that’s what I like to hear. In my video you can see how I achieved it. But simply just take your time and make sure the brush you use is comfortable for you, so u have full control. Gel liner works better when warmed up so take a small bit clump and work it on the back of your hand with the brush, the texture becomes smoother and glides on a lot easier.
TIP: Patience is the Key to Success! Don’t give up… if all fails, give me a call and book yourself in for a 1:1 makeup session.
Ok folks.. so that’s my helpful tips for you.
