After munching on countless amounts of calorific, delicious food it’s time to beautify ourselves in time for that one day a year where us ladies can expect to be pampered and spoilt with all kinds of romance. Now I know some of us are determined to believe that this show of affection should not be bottled up and drank all in one day but should be shared through out the whole year. Yes it’s true, it should be but we know what some men can be like and they do forget to show us their romantic side all year round, we know they love us but on this one day, let them spoil us. Come on, we deserve it and if you’re single and thinking that you have no Valentine this year, you’re wrong. Mothers, Fathers and those Special Ones are next to or best Valentine you can find. Why not spoil them with a home cooked dinner, or a table at a fine restaurant and still get the chance to doll up, to show love and feel loved in return.
Unfortunately I fell extremely ill during November and have only just started to recover. My skin had become dull and lifeless and needed plenty of nutrients to revitalise itself in order to look juicy, fresh and plump. I began with my diet, Fruit, Veg and lots of Water, I noticed a difference in a week and around my waistline too. I began experimenting with different foundations to help me look vibrant and ready. The best one for me is from Illasmaqua – Skin Base Foundation in SB10/12.
Wow what a miracle worker, not only did it hide all my spot scars and pigment imperfections, it added radiance. Try mixing 2 colours to get the perfect match.
Team it with the power of brown eyeliner, when traced around the eyes and topped with brown shadow to make the eyes pop but in a soft, romantic way. A swipe of pink gloss rounds out the angelic effect.
Another way to capture your lovers eyes like you did when he first saw you is to try a smoky eye in rose gold shades, to achieve this pink-y gild effect sweep a gold shadow over the lid, a brown in the crease and a bronze (damped with water to intensify the shade) under the eye. Compliment with a nude glossy lip.
Try getting the perfect cheekbones with this little tip. Instead of just relying on your pinky blush, try dusting a taupe shade under your apples. This creates a contouring effect that chisels and adds major definition.
If this Valentines you’re hitting it simply, try having defined brows. It is all the more important, the trick is to run a pencil through brows and seal with a coat of clear mascara.
Even the Hollywood stars wore theses looks at the Golden Globes 2013.
What ever look you decide on, enjoy it, embrace it and let your confidence shine. Remember makeup just enhances your natural beauty and Valentines day is the perfect day to let your true beauty shine because that’s what people love about you.
